Alla fine l’ha spuntata “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”, vincitore del titolo di gioco dell’anno aI The Game Awards 2015 di Geoff Keighley. Battuti al fotofinish titoli come Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid V e Super Mario Maker. Riconoscimenti anche per Life is Strange, premiato come miglior gioco votato al cambiamento, e per Metal Gear Solid V, che la spunta nella categoria “miglior action/adventure”. Il titolo di sviluppatore dell’anno è andata alla software house polacca “CD Projekt RED”, autrice proprio di The Witcher 3, vincitore anche nella categoria “miglior RPG”.
