Astro Bot trionfa ai BAFTA Games Awards 2025 con cinque premi

Astro Bot, il titolo sviluppato da Team ASOBI per PlayStation 5, si è aggiudicato il premio come Miglior Gioco ai BAFTA Games Awards 2025, oltre a conquistare altri quattro riconoscimenti. La cerimonia, presentata dal comico Phil Wang, ha celebrato i migliori titoli usciti tra il 25 novembre 2023 e il 15 novembre 2024.

I grandi vincitori della serata

Oltre al premio principale, Astro Bot ha vinto nelle categorie Animazione, Realizzazione Artistica, Design e Realizzazione Tecnica, confermandosi come uno dei giochi più acclamati dell’anno. Still Wakes the Deep, il survival horror di The Chinese Room, ha ottenuto tre premi, tra cui quello per la Miglior Interpretazione Protagonista con Alec Newman e la Miglior Interpretazione Non Protagonista con Karen Dunbar.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II di Ninja Theory si è aggiudicato il premio per il Successo Tecnico, mentre Metaphor: Refantazio ha vinto nella categoria Narrativa. Vampire Survivors, già vincitore come Miglior Gioco nel 2023, ha ottenuto il riconoscimento come Gioco in Evoluzione.

Nuove IP e debutti

Tra i giochi emergenti, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, opera prima di Surgent Studios, ha vinto il premio Gioco Oltre l’Intrattenimento, mentre Animal Well e Balatro sono stati premiati rispettivamente come Miglior Esordio e Nuova Proprietà Intellettuale.

Tutti  premi BAFTA 2025

La cerimonia ha evidenziato una forte presenza di titoli AAA e indie, con giochi come Helldivers 2, Black Myth: Wukong e The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom tra i nominati più rilevanti. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 e Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 hanno invece dominato nelle categorie tecniche e multiplayer.
